About Dana

Since I was young, I have had a deep fascination for the occult and witchcraft. Growing up in Ontario, my sister, cousins and I often played “The Potions Game”, where we would mix different herbs, berries and anything else we could get our hands on to sell in our little apothecary. They grew out of it, I did not!

I have always been driven towards paranormal books, tv shows and movies, from Harry Potter to Game of Thrones, I enjoy many different fandoms. That love spurred on a passion for cosplay, where I was able to open up and be more free to let my inner nerd come out, thus allowing me to be more comfortable to open up about my true calling in the world of Wicthcraft.

Now, my passion for witchcraft drives me in my day-to-day life. Being a single mom gave me the motivation to start my own business The Essence of Witchcraft in 2021. I have been fine-tuning my incredible handmade products for over a year now, and will be coming out with even more new products and services to offer to my customers.
